Its not working.

Last night it was announced that Israel would unilaterally extend the cease fire. Almost immediately, the terrorists began firing rockets into Israel. They do not want peace, even for a little while.

Netanyahu is easily one of the most brilliant individuals in any national government today. If he believed it wasn't working, I'm sure he would make other plans. It is working, but it is a tough job and they won't quit until their own security is restored.

>> Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Why do the Arab terrorists continue doing the same things? They've never won an engagement with Israel and they're sure not going to end this one.

>> The world is pissed.

Yes, the world is largely ignorant. No doubt about that.

>> I am sure Obama is not happy.

The way Netanyahu has been treated by Obama, I really seriously doubt Obama is any factor at all.

You can suppress people for a while but eventually they will rise up again and again til they gain their freedom. Suppression doesn't work and its an expensive proposition. I suspect Israel doesn't know quite what to do.

Freedom? Hell, these idiots have freedom. They don't have the will to achieve; only the will to fight. How the hell do you look to Israel to give the Arabs "freedom"?

That is really stupid, even for you.

They know exactly what to do and they are doing it now.

Exactly - Hamas is insane.

Netanyahu: Hamas Has Violated Its Own Ceasefire

By Katherine Connell
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel has accepted multiple ceasefires up to this point in the Gaza conflict but that Hamas has refused to abide by any of them.

Israel has accepted five cease fires up to now,” Netanyahu told Bob Schieffer on CBS’s Face the Nation Sunday. “We accepted them and we implemented them.”

Hamas has rejected every single one of them,” Netanyahu said, noting that that included a ceasefire proposed by the terrorist group itself. “They’ve violated their own ceasefire, and they’re firing on us as we now speak.”

“Israel is not obliged and will not let a terrorist organization, a ruthless terror organization, committed to our destruction, to decide when it’s convenient for them to stop for a moment, rearm, and continue firing on our citizens and our people,” he continued. “We’ll determine what is important for our own security in the way that we can to protect our people, including working against these terror tunnels that they’re digging against us. That’s how we’ll act. We’ll just act to protect our people.”
