Gottfried, re: "We're doomed." I hope you're kidding... aren't you? I don't need these publications (Barron's and Fortune) to tell me that the semi equips are bargains; I already knew that. I've been buying all I can recently. But a large part of the investment community follow these and other sources faithfully. I have felt in the past that stock valuations in certain sectors which Barron's reported on, either positively or negatively. were influenced by their reports. This helps I think. Stu B.
