I just was watching CNN at the gym. They were talking about the bombing of the UN shelter in Gaza. Israel admitted today that it was an errant Israeli mortar. Then they brought in an Israeli spokesperson who said yes its was an errant mortar but it didn't kill or injure anyone because the school was empty. Huh? The day of the blast the UN reported that the shelter was occupied by women and children. So then CNN went to their senior reporter in Gaza. He said he was at the site right after the blast when they were taking the injured out of the shelter. So then the Israeli spoke person who had been caught lying said it had to have been a Hama missile because Hamas was operating near the shelter. The CNN senior reporter said no. He said he knew that it was an Israeli weapon because it was an air burst mortar, the kind the Israelis like to use..........the assholes have their mortars explode just above the ground so that it kills, maims and injures the maximum # of people on the ground. The reporter than asked the Israeli if the Israelis were using 60 millimeter mortars because they are more deadly. The Israeli, of course, had no clue........at least that's what he said. Throughout his conversation with CNN he kept repeating that Israelis admit when they make a mistake........at least 4 times he said it. It suddenly dawned on me that the Israelis know just how to make the little hearts of Inode and Eric go pitter patter. The heroes are always the honest ones you know. The Israelis have us completely wired.............they speak better English than the Palestinians......some are even former Americans who emigrated to Israel. And more importantly they know how Americans are wired and how to play into that wiring. Later, a Pal spokesperson was on.........his English was broken at best and he did a horrible job of presenting the Palestinian case.
