Each option trader has his or her own tollerance of pain...

first try to place sells and stops all at the same time...trade mechanical not manual...

I cant help you with %'s of what you paid as to what you will take as a loss...I usually exit positons quickly if they turn against me...

also do not fight the tape the trend and the sectors power...or reverse, there NON power...

watch for sympathy trades within certain sectors..

but as for stop losses i dunno, it's up to you..but get advice and then take your shot...be careful, be nimle, be quick to take profits...
