If Israelis wanted a holocaust, all the Palestinians would have been killed off long ago.

How many Jews live in Palestinian controlled areas? Zero, right? Cause the Palis would kill them all.

Hi SARMAN; Re: " 'If Israelis wanted a holocaust it would happen for real.' -- It is happening moron!";

Oh give me a break.

During the second world war, at the peak of the death camp usage, about 8,000 people were gassed at Auschwitz *every day*. And Israel kills roughly 1000 over the course of a month? That's not a holocaust. Do the math, it's about 1/240th of a Holocaust. And that was just the toll at a single camp! I wouldn't be surprised if more Palestinians died of natural causes over the course of this "war".

No, this whole thing is a farce, a charade, a photo-op. Real wars between major countries are so awful that they don't try to give decent burial to the dead. In vast field of Europe you can't stick a spade in the ground without digging up human remains from the 2nd world war. When Americans try to recover all the country's soldiers, Russian farmers look at them like they're insane. Sure you can get the bodies when you lose 50,000 in Vietnam; when you lose 100x that the problem becomes intractable and you let nature take its course.

The Gaza conflict, on both sides, is intended for one thing only, influence international public opinion and in that I think the Palestinians are doing very well. The two sides are lucky that I'm not in the conflict on the other side. If I ran the Israeli side I wouldn't send troops or aircraft over the border. I'd heavily and indiscriminately shell every neighborhood that shot off a rocket at my side. And if I were the Palestinians, I'd be putting radioactive debris in the missiles; God knows it's easy enough to obtain. The war is limited on both sides because the objective is not to seriously damage the enemy, but instead to influence international opinion.
