No nuance at all. That is what you are doing. And no, it wasn't ok. But there wasn't a framework to hold them accountable. So you might express moral disapproval, but that is about it. Since most tribes signed away their rights to get on reservations, trying to get paid reparations would be trickier.. The Seminoles got reparations, but they never surrendered. The point is, we have laws in place. We also have a country that seems to believe they can pick and choose which ones they follow. The problem is, when there is blow back, we take the brunt of it.
