Agree - and by the same means I doubt that water temperature changes - in the case caused by Global Warming according to our Warmists - have much if anything to do with the anchovis moving up north in the Atlantic - or vice versa...

Another very likely reason but for good reason not so popular with our Warmists:

Too heavy commercial fishing in the North Sea Atlantic has reduced the amount of small fish predators in those waters
