He lied, and he perjured himself, for that, he was impeached. ..yup ..and the Constitution provides grounds for impeachment as high crimes and misdemeanors Since lying about a blow job does not rise to that standard..well other than among idiot Republicans, he was in fact impeached for nothing if you limit yourself to the real world Unfortunately the lunatic Republican team is still allowed to play government, so the inmates are again running the asylum

The reason the right wing has no credibility is they have no perspective. Everyone does miner things like that and few are prosecuted.

And you think lying about sex is an impeachable offense? Really?

They were out to get him. Ken Starr was a paid assassin. That is the real story. The honest story and he spent 40 million to nail him on that silly thing.

Bush outed a covert CIA agent, started a major war lying about it, and tortured people and no one impeached him.

So you feel lying about sex is an impeachable offense, but the crimes above aren't?

Would you really want to live in a society to with those values?

Don't get me wrong.. I think the whole "Monica incident" was a joke.. Other nations were laughing at us while Jacques Chirac paraded around his multiple mistresses. Clinton should have simply done the "ethical" thing and told the truth under oath. He lied, and he perjured himself, for that, he was impeached.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Chris Stigall talked with conservative writer Andrew McCarthy on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT about the increasing political chatter to impeach President Obama.

He said the motivation for Republicans, whether or not they ever vote on impeachment, should be to stop the President from issuing executive orders.

“I’ve actually been credited or blamed, depending on your perspective, with injecting the country with impeachment fever according to Media Matters, as I understand it…The issue here is Presidential lawlessness. That is what the Republicans ought to be driving to the fore. It’s not only good politics, it’s important to the country. You have to have a credible impeachment remedy to keep a rogue President in check,” McCarthy explained.

McCarthy was critical of Congressional Republicans for preemptively rejecting the consideration of impeachment.
