Dear Hannoverian, SI's performance has been extremely good today; I use it throughout the day and test it from remote proxies as well. We also independently gauge our performance using a number of outside services like Web Page Test Our last test of this site shows SI averaging a 700 millisecond round-trip wait before page render at the client location (the green line), assuming one has visited the site before. Outside advertising content can take much longer to load (two seconds for all content in this example), but that content loads asynchronously and does not stop our pages from loading and rendering on clients and being navigable. I'm sorry if you are having speed issues; there can be other factors that influence this. But our testing indicates that issue is beyond our entrance to the pipe, so to speak. Our servers are collocated at a major, central peering point. Regards, @Dima
