Well, the explanation I've heard is this: many of these caregivers are working 20 hr shifts, in horrendous conditions, in the relentless African heat, 7 day per week. Mistakes are made when you work yourself into a zombie-like state; even with the greatest applied care and attention. I posted this article as a source of hope.....amid the hysteria that could well be blown out of proportion. I think the article does bring up a few valid points, and provide a sense of hope for those on the front lines of this dreaded disease.....does it not?????
