Dulane,
Stopped by COMPUSA in King of Prussia last night and It looked like a war zone after the battle. There were were still busy and a few stragglers were buying PCs. The couple in the check out line ahead of me (at 8:30pm) were spending $1200 on a PC and equipment for their excited boy. He appeared to be about 12 years old. It was appparent the parents didn't have a lot of money. Mother was comfirming the 3 month no interest payments. The check out clerk confirmed that was the case. On a personal note the clerk advised them not to miss the payments, because they really get you on the interest if you are late. Think the theory about less well off people buying PCs for their kids holds some water. I just hope the kid does the right thing.
