World War I under Wilson. Korea under Truman. Cuba under Kennedy. Viet Nam under Kennedy and Johnson. Unless you consider these folks right wing fanatics.>.

I think all of that has context. Liberals generally have behaved themselves well though. That is true all through the history of mankind.

WWI: I don't know the history of that one. Wilson was a weird duck. Didn't he oppose women's suffrage?

I do know John Maynard Keynes warned the world about its harsh retribution of Germany.

Korea, was that not a justified war? Some wars are justified.

Viet Nam: LBJ (right winger) is the one who really took us into that one. I do not believe Kennedy would have taken us further into it had he lived.

And it was the right wing and moderates dems that supported it.

The left was so opposed to that war, and the moderate dems, that they deposed LBJ over it with massive demonstrations in the streets and refused to vote for Humphrey which gave the election to Nixon.
