Gene,

I am just presenting my analysis. I welcome views that provide
substantive positive findings as well. My point in mentioning that
the article was pre-announcement is that public knowledge about
OXHP's problems are very different now than when that article was
written.

<<I really wish you could squeeze a little silver lining over the fact that 75% of
their business is profitable, they recognize their flaws and their try to fix them.>>

There is a lot of silver lining here, which I have pointed out
in the past many, many times over (1) their patients chose them the
best health plan both in May and September (2) the the company's
innovations are its strengths and these innovations are not at
all the cause of the problems (as has been mistakenly reported)
(3) management is visionary which is more than can be said
for most insurance executives (4) they continue to have
a geographic franchise which makes the plan attractive as
a takeover (something that may be more likely to happen
now that the executives are known to be seeking seasoned
guidance and now that the financial condition has worsened)
etc. Heck, I wrote a whole article that thousands
of people saw touting Oxford back when it was at $25.

There is room here for balanced and unbalanced analysis.

Good Investing,
Michael Burry
