Contrary to your investment style I invest in currencies and debenture, where geopolitical developments are of great importance as it affects the respective economies

I posted on SI that I do trade in EUR/RUB and USD/RUB further after a business trip to Baku seven years ago I invested in manat debenture which more than tripled in value since, (including coupon payments) I bought them at a yield of 13% and 14.5% and trade now at below 1%

As the market is tinley traded and spreads are wide I am waiting for maturity later this year and next

Further I have deposits in Lari the Georgian currency started at 9.56% for my CD deposit in 2008 and now I am around 6%

I also bought Iraqi Dinar where I have a paper loss and may be not recover the investment as the exchange rate is around 1,150 dinar to the USD

Same with my Gazprom investment where I am at a 25% loss with dividends (luckily it is a small amount)
It seems that you disregard those markets and therefor you are busy finding the needed funds to cover your own family bills and also paying the bills
