Bonnie, I could have left the x and not show my ignorance, but then the financier would gang up on the engineers, and we will have our version of the October massacre, so the farmer in me through out a guess (more or less). I beleve that total world production is (more or less) 2400 tonnes of which about 40% goes for industrial (non jewelry) use. A large portion in form of plating. I doubt that more than 20 % of the industrila use goes for electronics and "avionics". But what do I know? I can barely count my turnips. <ggg>. Zeev
