Forgive me for assuming CSCO was involved in a sector revolving around a technology that is constantly in a state of upheavel and tremendous advances...any number of which may surface unexpectedly at any given time to drastically alter the competitive landscape.

Ah yes, how dare I forget that CSCO has become fat AND lazy, its emphasis on developing innovative technologically pioneering networking gear, apparently taking a backseat to the popular: "kick-ass PR + mediocre product = lotsa sales" formula. Chambers must be spending quality time with Billy-boy over at MSFT. I can just see the two holding hands.

So it comes as no surprise the CSCO shareholders are as marshmallow-minded as their company's network engineers.
