Except Indonesia which was down over 7%, generally the Asian market was up. Wall street will be up on Monday. QCOM will rebound, and those gutsy investor/speculator will buy QCOM in the morning and sell it near the close for a few points gain. Those tape watchers will be rewarded if act accordingly. Too bad Ramsey cannot participate in this golden opportunity.

Good Luck to all

Paul

Korea being the 10 or 11 largest economy in the world is significant to consider. It's just one more domino in the chain to fall this year. That raises concern and something that needs to be watched. It also changes sentiment among MM's and others. You can't disregard that.

The growth that alot of high tech companies enjoy the past couple of years is tie to Asia expansion. Remove that or cut it significantly; you are talking about flat earnings. You also couple that with a few other upcoming phenomeons and you are talking about shift in investment sentitment. A few month ago it was stocks have the best rate of return, well bonds are NOW the best for the year in return.
Money flows are into bond funds now; late in my opinion.

Finally, I'll spel anywey I wesh. It's a God geven rite in Amierica to misspel!!!!!!!!!!!

Maurice, as you know I'm also in Gstrf. Have held. Its held up well.

What I keep worrying about w/Gstrf is one thing. Been worrying about this from day one. Love to get your take.

It is of course whether there are really 3 million or whatever poeple who are not covered by cellular (generally cheaper) WHO CAN AFFORD $1 minute plus for Gstrf satcoms? (I suppose Indonesia, Malasian woes my focus this issue for some people at some point?)

I fully believe that G* is vastly superior to I*. That for many customers, G* is the cheapest way of installing the last mile. But cheapest doesn't cut it if its still too expensive for the customer to afford.

I obviously believe the surveys are right, that there will be enough business or I wouldn't be invested. But I'd love your thoughts.
