Elmo you know better than me the huge potential Africa presents to business, the problem is "shrinkage" of items even if nailed to the ground, if it has scrap value on local markets <GG>

In other places bribes and cronyism is prevalent and not sure how US business can do there business in accordance with US laws. True things improved but I was warned not to try it "at home alone". Aside it is a huge expanse of land and without knowing the local mentality you are lost, not to mention language and communication.

Was thinking about growing chickpeas, sesame seeds and tomatoes but between the various "chiefs" tribal rivalry and heavy shrinkage of crop I gave up - it is not for the small guy to invest there.
