Hello Instock, I think the philosophy of the 2 threads is different. I have been working with Gabard and others to find good up and comers. Since these stocks have not had fundementals were have taken it upon ourselves to contact the individual companies to determine if there is infact good upside potential. The thread has allowed us a good means to find a competant group to undertake this task. Our performance in the past few months has been quite good. The combined effort of several does seem to be better that one. What concerns us is the Hype and dump tactics that pervade the internet. We have severe midpoint buying and the MM's have eaten us alive in some cases. We have tried to educate some people on these threads but to no avail. I am sure that you have the same problem on your thread. The question of morals comes up quite often. Unfortunately, when it comes to money, there are no morals. We will not be responsible for peoples investment decisions. Should they follow us blind they will be doing just that. There is significant backround to our decisions and if you just showed up to the thread, these people should read the history to understand what this position is. We make no promises and the market is a gamble. We try to hedge against this gamble with good research and direct contact with the companies and we have developed a pretty good team of investors.
