OT Trufflette:

And I thought I was the only one here with insomnia....! I'll go back to sleep after January's earnings are released w/ the recording of the conference call playing in the background!

Trufflett, Yeah, all I could find regarding initial notebook shipments was from their November 12th press release where Iomega stated: "Iomega today announced that its notebook Zip(TM) drive is now shipping in limited quantities to original equipment manufacturers..."

While sales this quarter would appear to be somewhat limited due to ramp up, it will be exciting to watch notebook Zip sales rocket from here. This is a product which I suspect most notebook users seriously need and want. As a result, I don't believe price will be much of an issue here. In addition, the market is of course huge and growing larger every day.

Regards - Dale

Truff, notebook Zips (VST) aren't so rare around here. I saw them at Fry's Saturday, sitting next to a notebook with a modular bay.
