I think it has more to do with protecting Kurdistan. They have been a pretty loyal ally in that region.

Steve, as I hinted in my response to Bentway, Obama seems more interested in going after ISIS than Boko Haram.

Why is that? Obama, the man who is courting African leaders, the man who was highly critical of the Iraq War, now seems more actively involved in Iraq than in Nigeria.

Is this out of convenience, since we already have forces in Iraq but not in Nigeria?
