They are both idiots and yeah, Cheney is a crook. But I am 99% sure it was Cheney who pushed on the Iraq invasion.

..pretty sure that call was made by George Herbert Walker...

He knew he needed a reliable scoundrel to manage his idiot offspring.

...and as the titular head of the GOP, the incumbent GOP ex-president, he selected Cheney

..the rest is, of course, history

..and all the Bushes and Cheneys are inordinately wealthier as a result

..the only reason any Republican ever seeks office
