Hi Mike da bear; I held puts on GTW until I realized that they have
very low institutional ownership and that the exit from the tech
stocks has been institutional. My work buddies are all buying
tech stocks as fast as they can.

GTW has way low insitutional ownwership, CPQ has way high.
So I'm going to remain short CPQ until I see the institutions
quit selling. Then I'll go short GTW expecting the little guys to
catch up to the thinking of the big guys.

Wish me luck, as that is the most useful thing when holding
puts. No <g>.

And I agree completely regarding those cable modem operations.
As soon as the industry agrees on a non-monopolized standard
the profits are history. This applies to everything tech ever does.
Barriers to entry are the way to make money.
