Hi penni: The winter weather does permit a little more time for following the threads. I was checking up on Averill to remind her of the deadline for submitting application for Lakefront Festival of the Arts. It is one of the better juried shows in the Midwest and attracts artists from across the country. I thought Averill would fit in well, having viewed and purchased her work in DC. The museum is The Milwaukee Art Museum; we're adding a wonderful futuristic wing designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Groundbreaking was last week with occupancy scheduled for (we all hope) Dec 31, 1999.
