Good morning OJ--now I have never seen you this bearish

Now all we need is for Ike to follow you and recommend shorting stocks and I think that the bottom will be in place:)

Well, I am proceeding with my plan of action -- will take a 25% position at initial entry, the next 33% at the next lower level of entry and the balance at the third level of entry. This will allow for a significant amount of downside -- but will from a dollar cost average standpoint leave me with prices that should produce some great returns down the line.

CPQ and LU are within range for my initial position -- I suspect that they will get there in the next day or two. I have already placed GTC orders for both the stocks at this point.

One thing that you need to keep in mind is that the recent declines are discounting the events in Asia and the likely impact on earnings -- the real question is whether it these events are being sufficiently discounted -- and noone knows the answer to that at this point -- probably not even the affected companies.
