I believe the $.06 forecast was for MUEI, not MU.

Joan, thanks. I got up late. Nice to see CNBC giving such quality coverage to the stock they helped move to 60 <g>

Actually, IMHO David Faber and Joe Kernan are great. It's Maria B. who dropped the story.

When she was standing next to the MU post, Maria B. sure had a lot to report on MU.

Now that they've moved the post - ZIPPO!

Terrific journalism. A+. Stand still and let the story come to you via traders standing around a post and then basically ignore it after they move the post? Where was the coverage from CNBC as the quarterly estimate went from .33 to .06? Seriously? It didn't happen overnight, right?

I wish I could review the CNBC tapes over the run from 16 5/8 to 60 and count the number of "positive mentions" per week courtesy of Maria B. and compare them to the number of "negative mentions" per week on the way to 22. Any guess which is greater?

Good trading,

Tom

Joan, did CNBS mention that the 0.06 est. for MU is a fraction of the est. at the beginning of the quarter? I rarely listen to CNBS because it seems more like an infomercial for Wall ST and the MF industry that objective reporting. Mike
