Maybe, but the infrastructure for mental health and substance addiction treatment is terrible. Unfortunately, part of the symptomology of depression is that it may be difficult to keep patients properly medicated. If they decide to stop taking the medication, which many do, they fall through the cracks. The system depends on people who basically don't want the treatment to voluntarily come in to get treatment on a routine basis.

One of the great tragedies our nation refuses to address.
