Brumar, I don't see much active endorsement for euthanizing the clinically depressed. All I see is denial from (a) those who generally support legalized euthanasia, and (b) the doctors who are a little too quick to prescribe it.

No way anyone is going to come out and say that clinical depression should be a valid reason. That's nuts given how many people suffer from it.

Furthermore, the trend these days is to try and prevent more suicides, not encourage more. Even the extreme leftists in San Francisco just voted to build a net to stop people jumping off of the Golden Gate Bridge.
