I'm almost positive you were saying that Democrats see things as gray when they should be black and white. If you weren't, other conservatives here certainly were.
I think part of the confusion stemmed from the fact that you said "gay," not "gray."

In any case, Kerry's flip-flops all have a common theme, which is political convenience. He voted for the war when it was popular. Later when his party started opposing the war, he voted against funding it.

He and his supporters tried to pass that off as "nuanced" thinking, but in reality, it was a complete flip-flop. It had nothing to do with seeing the world as black-n-white vs. gray.
