Especially the one about the ends justify the means. No group practices this like the Right. Against abortion? Make up a bunch of bogus claims and pretend you are concerned about the mother. Pass a bunch of measures that address no problems but result in most, if not all abortion providers closing down. Concerned about the fact that minorities won't vote for your party? Make up concern over in person voter fraud and pass a lot of measures to address this non-problem that oddly enough impact minorities and other undesirables more than any other group. Just about every issue they hold near and dear to their hearts is handled by a similar process. No conspiracy theory is too wild, no lie is too egregious, no line of reasoning can be twisted too much, all lines can be crossed as long as they achieve their goals.
