In fact when I was born he looked at my momma and said (in a long southern drawl) " why don't you just shover her back where she came from?" Momma replied (with smile) "Well, I guess that would be pretty painful for you ...huh?"> Where do you get these great jokes, T.R.? If you keep it up, we will have to annoint you the Feelings thread jestor or something. You will get to wear a funny imaginary hat with colored balls of various hues hanging off the little points and everything!!! But yes, I think that would be a great way for men to understand graphically what labor feels like!!! Were you there when any of your children were born, incidentally? I think that might be almost as hard, feeling a little helpless and quite scared, really, but I haven't really talked to very many men about it.
