However, I think its more than that. You answered your own question... racism is exercised greatest against blacks than other groups. That racism is older and more deep-seated. This country, at least after the 17th century, never enslaved anyone other than blacks. Minstrel shows lampooning blacks were waaaaay more widely done than anything lampooning other races. Probably no ethnic epithet hits harder than "n*****r." There certainly is racism against other minorities, but it doesn't compare. -Z
