Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....that had to be painful..... had a 66 with side pipes......350......what a great summer that was Then had to grow up. snuck an 88 944 into the drive for a while.......wife just hated the thing. settled for Z cars. today....friggen Expedition. Life has kicked my ass.......vehicularly. Shootie

A friend of my brothers had a vet just like that but it was a hard top and black, with the same engine...... He let me drive it one evening. I was being careful, perhaps too much, following a car at a safe distance on a nice road.... The owner got impatient and told me to pass the car ahead. So I put the pedal half way to the floor,,,,,,,,came close to rear ending the dude in front of me..... Twitched, and I was in the other lane and passed the car.. Didn't look like I was going that fast but the speedometer registered close to 100..... It was awesome.
