Yeah, this looks really good for the Dems.

McCrumb, the special prosecutor, was nominated to be a US Attorney by Obama (which pretty much tells the story) but his nomination, he claimed, was interfered with by Republicans. Sounds like just the guy to go after Perry.

This really stinks in a big way. Clearly an effort on the parts of corrupt Texas Democrats (and TX has some seriously corrupt Democrats) to stop Perry's political aspirations.

Texas Gov. Perry Indicted on Charge of Abuse of Power ....The criminal indictment of the state’s chief executive shocked the Texas political world. Rick Perry will be arraigned at a later date at the county criminal courthouse a few blocks from the governor’s mansion.

Mr. McCrum said it was a matter of procedure that anyone charged with a felony “will have to be booked in,” including the governor. Asked if Mr. Perry would have to have a mug shot taken and be fingerprinted, he added, “I imagine that’s included in that.”

Priceless, how the wheel turns, pics to follow we can assume.
