Yes indeed. But this time no doubt Putin, when he projected his wishful thinking onto the Eastern Ukraine, made a serious mistake and matters blew up in his face, when he wasn't exactly celebrated by the local population as a saviour, like Hitler by the Austrians at the Anschluss.

Add to that the Buka 'mishap', which de facto put an end to Putin's 'Blitzkrieg' so successful so far...
