No, I hadn't seen it, but I was pretty sure that was how it went down, except for Carter trying to "outbid" Reagan for the hostages. I was pretty sure that Poppy Bush, former CIA director, had headed it up. That's why he pardoned all the convicted Iran/Contra guys as soon as he became president - if he hadn't kept that promise they might have spilled these beans.
