The young man also said that he has never seen the mayor or any of the local alderman. I live in a rather affluent area of the city and I have never seen mine either. Generally, I think that most government entities from the local to the federal level are out of touch with their clients. In fact, I think most of them don't give a $hit. However, this is only part of the problem as I see it, I would classify most of Ferguson as lower middle class and don't think it has near the issues of some "inner city" neighborhoods.
