I prepare myself for things that are LIKELY to happen. A person carrying a gun is more likely to shoot himself or someone else accidentally than he is to need it to defend himself. I never feel that it's likely that someone will attack me. Even remotely. I don't carry an umbrella when it does seem like it's going to rain. And it might rain 100 days out of the year. If I get attacked in a case a gun would be useful once in my life, that would be a lot. -Z
