.....seems to me if a struggle in the car can be proved by the evidence (cop's swollen face / gunshot / Brown's finger prints in car / eye witnesses of them engaging thru window / etc) .......then had the cop been bull charged by this guy later after telling him to halt, the cop would (CERTAINLY) fear for his life and would be EXPECTED to shoot the on charging man......and continue to fire until he goes down. So unless the so called bullet fired in the car unluckily went out the open window, the cop has a pretty strong defense. Of course, the evidence would have to point to this scenario........but it is plausible .
