The question, to me, is not whether Wilson was personally racist or that he shot Brown because he was black... it's because the racism is baked into the system and any cop who goes in there is thinking that the residents of the community are the enemy. You get a lot more trigger-happy when that's your starting point. It may well be the case. If drugs are not in the mix, it makes his version much less plausible.
