Metacomet; Where you and I differ is that you seem to think it is always the other guy paying taxes. You're really not that poor are you? It is the wage earner - the working parents that also get to pay taxes. In fact while the fat cats get to hide much of their income - the teacher, or the nurse, or the waitress serving coffee in a good restaurant don't get the same breaks. While the fat cat gets to pay a small portion on their unearned income - the wage earner makes up that difference and pays with few if any deductions. ..............The Ferguson cost will be largely a local expense. How many fat cats do you think live in Ferguson? Every home owner though will get to help pay when he sends in his property tax money. Do you think it is only republicans that pay local taxes? Only republicans that own homes?

Rand Paul has already made it clear as to his position; STOP the insanity of moving all our excess, or no longer used military stuff to local police forces. IT is those military play things that the local police get - and then think they must use - that is getting Ferguson in so much trouble. The only sane comments coming out of this have been from Paul. So take his position and comment on then - but empty comments about Paul are just that - empty comments.
