FWIW, I only use Quicken to track my stocks but failed to upgrade this time, and the only difference I have noticed so far is that I sometimes have to use Update Historical Prices rather than Update Quotes to make it work right..

Upgraded to 2014 when required. Don't see too much difference from previous versions, but I only maintain my investment portfolio(s) and do daily updates. The updates are slower (about 60-90 seconds) than previous versions, but accurate. I have about 18 years of stock transition history in Quicken so feel it's worth continuing to update when forced by Q. Also, it's a nice tool for year end tax information reports. Considering the ease of use and maintenance of my investment information I consider it a worthwhile expense every 3 years as I haven't found anything comparable.
