Do we know what he was firing?

Haven't read anything - but I assume a glock 9mm (common police issue), either model 17/19 due to the fact the gun was fired during a struggle and releasing a safety would not have been required.

I did read something that said Brown expired 2-3 feet from officer Wilson's feet and up to 10/11 shoots fired. Depends on which story you read and when it was written.
