Some of the Amazon reviewers are VERY unhappy. Maybe wrongly.

Amazon reviews of Quicken are the same for every version: really bad. My experiences so far have been OK on the forced upgrade cycle, knock on wood. I don't have 2014, I will be forced next year.

One thing to keep in mind: never buy it when the new version is just released. Wait 3-5 months for Intuit to fix issues/bugs/make updates. If you buy it 3-5 months into release cycle, usually you won't experience the huge craptastic bugs that completely screw up your files. But make a backup (a physical file copy) before any update too. Just in case it does screw up your files. :)
