I almost wish that Lewis would run against Emanuel, if for no other reason than the entertainment value. On the other hand, even though Emanuel is a complete disaster as mayor, Lewis would be even worse. Just imagine what would happen if the head of the teachers union became mayor of Chicago. The fact that there are multiple candidates could splinter the vote enough for Lewis to eke out a victory.
