And I have not seen the inflation in food that you see with the notable exception of beef.< You checked out cheese?? businessweek.com Chicken? indexmundi.com Milk? nbcnews.com You will notice that when energy costs increase and prices increase, that the Govt. does not include the amounts associated to increased fuel costs in inflation. However, when fuel cost retreat, and the consumer prices do not, they do not back that price increase into the inflation figures. But, simply provides a new increased "base line" from which they can count "future price increases" against into the inflation numbers. The other obscurer of Inflation is masked inflation. I used to buy Tortilla's.. I got 24 16" Tortilla's for $2.87. Then it dropped to 20 16" Tortilla's for $2.87. Then down to 16 16" Tortilla's for $2.87. Then 16 12" Tortilla's for $2.87. Then 12 12" Tortilla's for $2.87. Now I get 10 10" Tortilla's for $2.87. Price inflation is ZERO as it is counted in inflation numbers.. But, I am getting 65% less product Cases of Soda now only have 20 cans.. But, price is the same... ZERO inflation at work again. PCSTEL
