I think he's right. Apple's software overall is slipping on usability. It may be because they got way behind because they were expanding so fast, Jobs' death, and the executive reshuffling. Meanwhile, google updated its maps again. Every time it updates maps they make the interface worse. My nightmare is a future where we are all dependent on these companies, with no alternatives, as their software becomes more and more oriented towards their goals, instead of ours, and slowly it all becomes more and more frustrating and time consuming with no real feedback to the faceless deaf and dumb programmers living on the top rungs of our society. Like youtube ads... has anyone ever watched one? Or spam, has anyone been stupid enough to buy what they sell?
