I am simply to trying to reprogram my brain so I don't think that way.
a) You don't have to reprogram anything. Your brain is not an algorithm.

b) Racism is considered to be a sin in this society, an unforgivable one. Why do you think Sterling Don was forced out of the NBA, if his racism wasn't considered to be wrong?

Not all people think in terms of sinning. For many of us, racism is simply inappropriate behavior.

c) You're right, a little girl probably wouldn't know what it meant to say "Why aren't you white" to a black girl. But if racism is learned behavior, then the little girl obviously learned it from somewhere.

Wow. What was she........5 or 6? 95% of white parents have white kids. And you expect her at 5 to understand an aberration from the norm when she runs into the 5% who have black children? I think you are asking too much.

d) My opinion is that racism is just as "learned" as hatred. In other words, it isn't learned. It's just another part of the darkness in the human heart. And you can't "unlearn" that darkness. You just have to conquer it.

I believe there is a part of all of us that's xenophobic.......we feel most comfortable with our own tribe. It can be overcome but it requires some 'rewiring' of the brain.
