I am sure you must realize by now that in the major brokerage houses
the brokers bring in the sheep, the analysts herd them into the pens
and the owners remove the wool. Commissions are just a way to pay
the company overhead to run the real operation which is systematically fleecing the sheep. It has been that way for 100 years, but is now changing with the computer becoming the great equalizer just like the gun did in the last century. Commissions will
drop to the Ameritrade ($8) level and the scramble will be to control
assets so the analysts can continue to do their best work. Here again, the computer with our access to each other and information as
never before will be the great equalizer..... It promises to be a great
time...enjoy....Yankee Gil, a former broker now trading on the net for
