I totally agree with you!!!!! "PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE!" I got in around 70 and have been buying all the way down until now! Nothing has changed fundamentally with CPQ or the tech sector for that matter.
This whole Asian Flu thing in getting blown way out of proportion! All of these companies have had tremendous growth, and even if their growth slows down a little bit, TECHNOLOGY is not going to go away or diminish! CPQ and DELL have proven that they are indeed the top 2 PC companies. This is a fact, and this will continue! CPQ is positioning itself very well for the future and they are definately on
track to become a 50 billion dollar company by the year 2000! Does this sound like a company that is going to file bankruptcy and go out of business? Definately not!!!!! Many investors and people on this thread are acting like the world is ending and the growth of technology is going to end! This is totally not the case technology is what is going to drive us and companies like CPQ, MSFT, INTC and others will be at the front leading this technological age! Good luck to all and remember nothing fundamentally has changed with CPQ. They will have a blow out fourth quarter, split, and have a very good year in 1998!!!!!!!!!!
